The Keller’s and all the Martinez family got together at Grandma and Grandpa Martinez’s house. Much fun was had by all.

We had a lot of snow this Christmas. Brendan and Morgen enjoyed themselved thoroughly. Rest assured, plenty of hot cocoa was consumed.

Lisa, Lonnie and the kids (Cassi and Tori) flew in for Christmas, so the cousins got to spend lots of family time. Christmas day was a smorgasbord of riches and gluttony for all the grandkids. They loved every minute of it.

John said I have been lax in putting up photos of the kids, and looking at the date of the last post, I would have to agree with him. May the picture post-off commence.

Morgen’s hair went wild. Apparently, we didn’t wash it for a day and it came to life. Probably had something to do with large amounts of Halloween induced candy. It nearly destroyed the house, we barely escaped with our lives…

Brendan and the den went to the firehouse for a tour. The fire fighters were very nice, and didn’t even go crazy with ten seven-year-old boys running and screaming around their house.

Both Brendan and Morgen are looking back at some big accomplishments. Morgen just got through her first year of life, and Brendan is winding up his first year of school. Some new albums added, showing Morgen strutting her stuff, blissfully unaware that we’ve yet to have her 1st birthday party. Brendan is chillin at his first ever school carnival. Good stuff, and happy kids getting ready for summer.

So, last week it was becoming clear that Vanessa needed a day off, and soon, or I might be buying new household appliances soon. At some point last week the idea of giving her a break came up. From there, it was a short trip to Thursday, where I was told in no uncertian terms that I was going to take Morgen to her grandparents this weekend. So that’s what we’re doing.

Yesterday Brendan got spring off to a painful start and firmly planted his face into the sidewalk in front of the house. His friends and him have taken to sitting on a skateboard and riding down the hill on the sidewalk. A painful landing was inevitable, and poor Brendan drew the short straw apparently.
